Valve Assist from Total Lockout is a hand held pneumatic or electrically driven actuation tool which can be quickly fitted, either permanently or temporarily to a valve handwheel.

Once in place, the pneumatic airline is connected to a nearby air supply or portable compressor. Pressing the trigger on the actuator gun starts the actuator rotating the valve hand wheel.

Valve Assist displaces up to 500Nm breakout torque enabling it to release the tightest valve. Once running freely, Air Assist can be switched to higher speed (175rpm) to quickly and efficiently run the valve full stroke.
